Tanzania to Shift Away from Charcoal for Cooking Over the Next Decade - "Have heard Nyasa's Coal good for ignition "
Why this project?
This
project has three (3) main priorities that are important in dealing with the
challenges that exist in our communities which are;-
Environment:
This project's presence will make it possible to safeguard the environment,
starting with the land, the woods, the water sources, and the air. Because of
the significant rise in air pollution brought on by human activity, we
anticipate that coal will become more affordable for those who cannot afford
the costs of natural gas as an alternative source of energy for daily use,
which will result in a decrease in the use of wood and charcoal made from
felling and burning trees. Even if we reduce it to a certain extent, it will be
cheaper for our planet which preserves us and gives us the certainty of living
If the air is not contaminated by tree-cutting and smoke, living things that
use this air, including us and animals, will grow safe. Similarly, if the water
is not contaminated by the poison of coal residues, aquatic creatures that are
our food, people who use the water, and animals who drink water in those
sources will all be safe. If the air is not contaminated by tree-cutting and
smoke, living things that use this air, including us and animals, will grow
safely. Similarly, if the water is not contaminated by the poison of coal
residues, aquatic creatures that are our food, people who use the water, and
animals who drink water in those sources will all be safe.
Economy:
This initiative will result in lower living expenses since it will cut expenses
in places like residences, hotels, jails, and even schools where using
alternative gas energy is more expensive. The objective is to refine coal and
sell it for a reasonable price. The cost of cooking at home and the
manufacturing of food in establishments like hotels and schools are less
expensive when less coal is used since it may be used for a long period without
burning out.
Employment: The launch of this initiative will support social production and offer jobs to young people. The lack of work has become a major problem on both the national and international levels and initiatives like this one help to alleviate the situation. This project fits the objectives of a small business. Given the nature of the plant, it is anticipated that there would be a large need for personnel in all areas, including production, distribution, and markets.
International: This
project is anticipated to be the first of its sort on the Nyasa side, in the
south of the nation, where the possibility of a small factory being built is in
the district of Nyasa with vast coal resources, where this region is surrounded
by the neighboring nations of Malawi and Mozambique. The intended goal is to
participate in the contribution to the national revenue owing to the
replacement of foreign currency through international trade. The items that
will be manufactured are also anticipated to be marketed in the two nations. This
is also a way to promote Nyasa as a district with abundant resources whose
development has been hindered by the false notion that the southern region
lacks wealth. Internationally, Nyasa district is in dire need of contribution,
and the time is now because the availability of connecting water and road infrastructure
has greatly increased the opportunities for the transportation of goods made in
our southern region.
REQUIREMENTS TO BE MET BY THE PROJECT
1. There will be a small factory erected that will be developed close to coal mines, in the Malini or Mkalole area. This will remove and greatly lower transportation expenses to avoid growing too far from the location where raw materials are obtained & a coal-processing machine with a unique mixture leads to the friendliness of coal for domestic use.
